Nature is never static; she is constantly in motion, shaped by its interactions with the surrounding environment. When photographed, we see only a flash of it, a moment less than a second. Observing leaves, water, and wind as they touch and move through one another, I recorded traces of their motion within a single frame. This work invites to imagine and retrace nature’s performance—its quiet, ongoing practice of becoming.
What about the Nature in a static capture? What do we see? Composing a single jewelry of nature, both in studio and outdoor environment, we see common shapes and energy. In which stage is nature more alive? Appreciating its gracefully flowing lines, I framed the detail scene of it.
What happens when nature is held in a static environment? What do we truly see? Brought into a studio space, shared shapes and energies begin to emerge. In which setting does nature feel more alive? While appreciating its graceful, flowing lines, I framed an intimate detail of the scene.
Power, Core, and Aura. Energy given out by nature is oddly calming. Being its true self, it is beautiful, untouched, and evolved.
Light enables us to see through nature, clear or blurry, we see as it allows. Walking through the same landscape under different lighting conditions can transform the entire experience. A single scene can become something entirely different, depending on when and how it is observed.
